I have been working with clay for over 12 years. I first Interned with Joe Mcaphrey at Narrow Land Pottery during my junior year of high school. I then interned my senior year with Steve Kemp at Kemp Pottery, who I then aprenticed with for over 6 years. As well I have worked with Marion Eckhardt where I sold my work at Brewster Pottery.
I have been working for two years at Castle Hill Center for the Arts as a Studio manager. I have also taught work shops at Nauset High, and Harwich High, involving the students in alternative firing techniques, including pit firing, raku, and sawdust firings.
I am currently working at the Cape Cod Museum of Art ( the region's premere art museum) in Dennis Mass. For the past 2 years I have been facilities/and security manager as well as the clay studio manager where I teach beginner, advanced and technical pottery throwing classes.
